The SDSU DIAMONDS were the first collegiate majorette team on the west coast, founded in 2012 by former student, Maderia Toatley. The Diamonds are a registered student organization that performs with the Marching Aztecs at all home football games in the stands, on the field and featured timeouts. These ladies bring the southern flare of HBCU style dance to San Diego State University. Additionally, they perform at basketball games, campus and community events. This team focuses on the art of majorette dance and sisterhood while exemplifying school spirit, academic standards, and high energy performance.
