In Memoriam: Danlee Mitchell
Aug 15In Memoriam: Danlee Mitchell taught at SDSU from 1964 to 2000, serving as Coordinator of Percussion for decades. A close collaborator of composer Harry Partch, Danlee became the caretaker of the Partch Instrument Collection after Partch’s death in 1974 and conducted many of his works, preserving his legacy.
