Bio

Yiting Wang earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from San Diego State University in 2016. During her studies, she demonstrated a strong commitment to pedagogy, serving as a teaching assistant for Class Piano and Music History. Following graduation, she developed a particular passion for early childhood music education. As a certified Yamaha Experienced Teacher, Yiting employs a comprehensive teaching approach that integrates ear training, music theory, and performance. Yiting has pursued continued professional development through numerous pedagogy programs, including Piano Pedagogy for Young Beginners at The Irina Gorin Institute, Discovering and Nurturing the Young Artist with Roza Kostrzewska Yoder, the SDSU Flexible Course Design Summer Institute, and the Music Teachers National Association Piano Pedagogy Forum. Her performance background includes master classes with internationally renowned pianists Michael Lewin and Boris Konovalov, participation in festivals such as the Samper International Music Festival, and eight years of experience as a collaborative accompanist. Currently, Yiting serves as a studio teacher at Greene Music Education and the SDSU Community Music School, and as an adjunct faculty member at San Diego State University. She has also taught at the San Diego Summer Music Institute.
