Bio
Sonya Schumann is a passionate performer and educator, holding her terminal degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Michigan. Dr. Schumann’s lessons offer individualized plans based on each student’s unique goals and interests. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Dr. Schumann is an active member of the musical community as a pianist, teacher, publisher, and arts advocate. While many of her students have won or placed in regional, state, and national competitions, her studio is a place for all levels and genres. She enjoys teaching students ranging from beginning experiences through advanced collegiate-level performers.
