Bio
Lauren Rausch is the Social Impact & Leadership Programs Manager at the San Diego Symphony, where she oversees community engagement initiatives such as the Music Connects community program and the High School Ambassadors program. Lauren previously served as the Program Manager at the San Diego Youth Symphony, where she managed 12 orchestras and bands, supporting over 600 students. She also directed the Young Peoples' String Program at the Peabody Preparatory, where she collaborated with the Baltimore Symphony’s OrchKids program.
In addition to her extensive program management experience, Lauren is an accomplished musician and educator. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in violin performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University and has performed across North America.
With her rich background in both performance and education, and her deep commitment to community engagement, Lauren is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of music in the lives of young people and the broader community.
