Lizbeth Persons Price (Public Affairs) is a UC Berkeley graduate with over 20 years’ experience in communications, alumni relations, development and nonprofit management. A third-generation San Diegan with deep roots in the community, Lizbeth has worked with many of the region’s nonprofit education and cultural organizations including the San Diego Opera, Lamb’s Players Theatre, Starlight Musical Theatre, USD School of Business Administration, The Museum School, the Balboa Theater Foundation, San Diego Sicilian Festival, and the Spreckels Organ Society. She founded Persons Price, a PR consulting company, in 2009, and co-founded the PR firm Cause for Celebration in 2010. During that time she was a regular contributing writer and photographer for a weekly philanthropic column for SanDiego.com. An active community volunteer, she presently serves as President of the Board of Trustees for San Diego Junior Theatre and has co-authored an article with Darlene Geer Gould Davies for the Journal of San Diego History about the organization, which was founded in 1948. She is an advocate for the arts, arts education, the charter school movement and developmental vision/learning screenings for kids.
