There, she served as an American Ambassador, performing her twirling skills to help raise money for the orphanages and hospitals in the area. Here, she developed a love of serving and volunteering to give back to her community and those in need. As a student athlete, receiving an athletic scholarship for her twirling at the UW, Catherine personally raised over $10,000 dollars for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. She served as a leader both on and off the field to promote good will for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Dance-For-A-Cure along with the Regional Cancer Research Centers of Seattle.
