CAMPANILE MUSIC FESTIVAL
About
November 6 - November 8, 2022
The Campanile Music Festival at San Diego State University is excited to welcome Los Angeles Philharmonic Concertmasters Nathan Cole and Akiko Tarumoto, and Professor of Piano Inna Faliks from the University of California, Los Angeles. The festival’s goal is to give our students the opportunity to meet and work with experienced professional musicians in a wide array of instrument and performance related topics. Campanile guest musicians will present two featured concerts over the three-day residency: Inna’s autobiographical monologue about her life in piano performance entitled “Polonaise-Fantaisie: The Story of a Pianist,” and a joined performance by the guest artists including works of Beethoven, Shostakovich, Chevalier Saint-Georges, and Wieniawski. All Campanile Music Festival events are free and open to the public.
