  1. QUIZ TODAY, May 6: F10, Star-Spangled Banner. As written in A-flat Major with damper pedal.
  2. QUIZ THURSDAY, May 8: 12 Bar Blues in C Major with dominant ninths voiced with 3-7-9. Play twice: 1) chords with voicing in LH, RH plays root in octaves. Play in rhythm on beat 1 and the "and" of 3 tied to 4--every measure. 2) repeat with ninths in LH, improvise chord tone and blue note improv in RH.
  3. F201#36: last 4 measures of example. 2 voices in LH. 2 voices in RH.
  4. F228#15: D diatonic. Hand position, legato.
  5. F231-232: All Major scales.
