- EXAM #2: THURSDAY, March 13. ITEMS include:
- CCP3, Exercise 3. C diatonic. Hands play in contrary motion. Graded on legato, no accents, hand position.
- F231#12: play Majors scales of D, A, and E. Hands together. Memorized fingering. 2 octaves.
- CCP5: Play triads in Root/First inversion/second inversion/root. 2 beats on each chord or inversion. Two beats between keys. Play in these keys: C, Db, D, Eb, E, and F.
- F32#3: Mozart Minuet in F.
- Play with block chords in LH. Chord plays on downbeat and is held for 3 counts in each measure. Do chords in close voicing like the chord progression that you played.
- Play as written (intervals and single notes in LH).
- Transpose to G Major; use block chords in LH.
- CCP21: play example in D Minor as written. Observe all dynamics and phrasing. Transpose to C Minor.
- F48#11: Play the example with block chords; then with broken chords.
- NEW: CCP 40. Chord progression with the ii. I-IV-ii-V7-I. Keys of C, Db, D, Eb, E.
- NEW: CCP42. Harmonize with primary triads and ii. Play with block chords and broken chords.
- NEW: F32#1. Simplify as directed in class.
