Auditions
Auditions are held

This is essential for adequate personal time in preparing a role.
Schedule
Class rehearsals are M/W/F 4-6pm and are held in M250 and/or
M20, as well as Smith Recital Hall, which is the main performance
hall. Some Saturday rehearsals may be scheduled, and there is
a set schedule for production week in the theater. A basic overall
schedule is provided at the time of audition for each semester,
and a specific rehearsal schedule is posted on the opera board
weekly.
Performances
There may be 4-5 performances, depending on the production.
These would consist of a Wednesday or Thursday Invitational Dress
Rehearsal (at which time participants are provided (2) tickets),
Friday & Saturday @ 7pm, and Sunday @ 2pm.

Those selected to participate may register for either the
(1) unit course: Opera Ensemble Mus

the (2) unit course: Opera Theater Mus

or combine the two courses for a total of (3) units. This is based
upon the students involvement / work involved, and/or roles assigned.
