The San Diego State University School of Music and Dance announces
auditions for the 2010-2012 String Quartet Residency Program.
The two-year program offers residency activities that include outreach and community
concerts of all types, coaching with world-renowned artists and SDSU faculty, principal
positions in the SDSU Orchestra, business training and assistance, representation at
regional booking conferences and national touring opportunities.
A stipend is competitive with commensurate programs. Students must enroll in a twoyear
Masters degree or Artist Diploma program at SDSU commencing Fall 2010. Highly
qualified pre-formed String Quartets are invited to apply.

Application Materials
The letter of application must be accompanied by: a DVD; a group photo; a group bio;
individual bios and resumes. All promotional materials are due January 25, 2010.
Finalists will be notified of live auditions thereafter.
