The Performer’s Certificate is a 36-unit, non-degree program open to highly skilled pre-professional performers who have not earned a university degree. It provides focused instruction in all areas of performance including technique, interpretation, repertoire, performing experience, and knowledge of the business of professional performance. An audition is required for admittance to the program.
The four minors in music each encompass a 24-unit course of study. An audition is required for the Classical, Elementary Education, and Instrumental Jazz music minors. A portfolio submission is required for acceptance to the Electro-Acoustic music minor.
