Mr. Ransom received both his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and Professional Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. In addition to his responsibilities with the University, he is employed by the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League as their On-Field Entertainment Coordinator. Other entertainment production credits include Super Bowl Pregame, Halftime, and Postgame shows, NFL Kickoff and Thanksgiving Day Halftime Shows, Major League Baseball All-Star game and Opening Day Ceremonies, International Tennis Federation Davis Cup events , and various NCAA Championships events. He has provided marching instruction, visual coordination, and percussion arrangements for several San Diego area high schools, and is in demand as an adjudicator at high school band competitions throughout the Western States. His marching band / drumline arrangements have been published by Mesa Music Publishing, Matrix Publishing, and Jalen Publishing. Mr. Ransom performs extensively as a percussionist at various musical theater venues throughout San Diego County, and serves as Orchestra Manager for Moonlight Stage Productions Summer Season musicals. Mr. Ransom has been involved with San Diego's Esperanza Performing Arts Association and Esperanza Drum and Bugle Corps since it's inception.
