| The CPSFA Multimedia
Lab is a joint facility of the School
of Music and Dance, School
of Art, Design and Art History, School
of Communication and the Department
of Theatre. Access is limited to students enrolled in their
instructional classes. Other College
of Professional Studies and Fine Arts departments/schools may
use the lab upon request and subject to availability. Students
must present their permanent picture student ID card before using
any equipment in the lab.
The Multimedia
Lab has 26 student workstations, Teaching Station
(all with MIDI) and Server.
All 28 computers
are:
- iMac (2.33 GH Intel Core 2 Duo) with 500 GB hard drives, 3 GB RAM and SuperDrive
8X (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Printers:
- 1 HP Laserjet
4100 DTN (Letter Size 8 1/2 X 11 Paper)
- 1 HP LaserJet
9050DN (Tabloid Size 11 X 17 Paper)
MIDI (Musical
Instrument Digital Interface) synthesizers:
- M-Audio Keystation 49e - USB Midi
Scanners:
- 2 Epson
Pervection 3490 Photo
Each workstation
has Ethernet connections to the campus fiber backbone and is
Internet-capable.The Multimedia Lab was established and is maintained
by the SDSU College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts for
students, faculty and staff.
