The School of Music and Dance has an ongoing need for temporary part-time faculty in all areas. Positions are for one semester or one year. Areas of specialization currently being sought include:
Accompanying, aural skills, methods and ensembles class in guitar, woodwind and percussion, fundamentals for both music majors and students earning teaching credentials, opera, piano class, vocal pedagogy and literature, world music; studio instruction in guitar, percussion, French horn, trombone, trumpet, violin, viola, bass, harp, organ, piano, voice, and all woodwinds.
Jazz Dance, Ballet, Ballroom Dance.
Minimum qualifications: minimum of a Masters degree, extensive professional performance, and/or University or community college-level teaching experience. Proof of U. S. citizenship or eligibility for U. S. employment will be required prior to employment. Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND DANCE:
The School of Music and Dance, in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, offers curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree. Graduate Study degree programs include a Master of Arts degree in Music and the Master of Music. The 78,000 square-foot music building (completed in 1970) includes a 300-seat recital hall, a number of large and small ensemble rehearsal rooms, an electronic music studio, three digital/interactive class piano rooms, a listening library with over 14,000 titles, over 50 individual practice rooms, and a 25 station interactive multi-media computer technology laboratory dedicated to the arts. The School includes 26 full-time, 14 part-time, and 25 studio faculty with a support staff of 8. There are approximately 260 undergraduate and 40 graduate music students.
